Attention Rescue Groups – For dogs 2 years and younger
After hearing about a large number of dogs in various rescues that have bitten someone, being put to sleep out of liability fears. I (we) have decided to try and help as many of these animals as possible. 95% of the time the problem lies with the human, not the dog.
Here’s how it works
Rescue groups that handle retriever breeds, that have animals 2 years old or younger, that are facing death because of biting someone, can contact Ted by phone or email with details of the situation regarding said animal. If we decide to accept the dog, this rescue pays us a fee, not to exceed amount of putting dog down. Plus surrenders the animal to us.
We also work with rescues at reduced rates for problem solving, without them surrendering the animal to us.
In order to help as many dogs as possible, we accept monetary donations to help with the cost associated with boarding / vets/ food/ training / advertising to re-home.
Please send donations – (Cash or Checks) to:

Also if you are looking for a particular retrieving breed to adopt (small fee) for companion or hunting dog, please email us with your request.
